AIS demonstrates its capabilities on the world stage as the only Thai company to have won the 2023 ITU and UN WSIS award


BANGKOK, March 17, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — AIS has acquired its Aunjai CYBER program to represent it Thailand, the only Thai business entity to win an international sustainability award, while ranked in the top 5 out of 1,800 programs around the world. The 2023 Champion of WSIS Award was presented at the 2023 WSIS Awards in the category of programs that use technology to build trust and security in the use of ICT, hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the United Nations (UN ). The award again confirmed a proactive approach to dealing with cyber problems in a sustainable manner. AIS is committed to harnessing the potential of its digital networks to develop tools for intervention and to further develop the digital skills of Thai people to become more aware and inhabit the digital world safely and responsibly through the AIS Aunjai CYBER program.

It also meets the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals under Goal No. 4, ensuring quality education for all, and supporting lifelong learning opportunities.”

“The Aunjai CYBER Cyber ​​Immunity curriculum was the first of its kind in Thailand be certified by the Ministry of Education as compliant with Thailand curriculum standards. The curriculum itself was a joint effort by the government and private sectors, and it has been enhanced and made available to students in 29,000 schools across the country affiliated with the Office of the Commission on Basic Education (OBEC).
