Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., got into a rowdy fight with Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-NY, in the halls of Congress after the Democrat called Republicans “cowards” for breaching gun control after the shooting in of the school on Monday in Nashville, Tennessee.
Bowman preached to a crowd of reporters about Republicans’ lack of courage while other lawmakers walked by. Bowman accused Republicans of not caring about the six victims of this week’s Nashville school shooting.
“What are they doing about it? Nothing. You don’t have the courage. They’re cowards,” Bowman is heard yelling at the beginning of the video. “Three nine year olds. Do you go to these funerals? No!”
Bowman continues to rant for more than a minute as lawmakers walk past him into another room. Massie stopped trying to do the same and then challenged Bowman.
“You know there’s never been a shooting at a school that allows teachers to wear it?” said Massey.
“More guns? More guns means more death,” Bowman yelled back.

Rep. Thomas Massie (left) and Jamal Bowman got into a vocal fight over gun control legislation as they walked through the Congress Halls on Wednesday.
Bowman continued to shout as another lawmaker approached and appeared to be trying to calm the Democrat down. Even so, Massie and Bowman talked at once for more than a minute.
The Democrat soon tweeted a different perspective of the encounter, captioning the post saying, “Republicans won’t do S— when it comes to gun violence.”
Massie also responded on Twitter with his own take on the incident.
“He wanted to discuss solutions to school shootings but when I offered a solution he started yelling,” Massie wrote of Bowman. “When he asked for dates, I gave him dates, but then he just screamed some more. Bring facts.
Republicans on Capitol Hill have made it clear they are unwilling to push gun control legislation after Monday’s attack in which Audrey Hale, a transgender man, shot dead six people at Tennessee’s Covenant School.
