Tyra Banks Dancing with the stars days are done.

The supermodel said she will no longer be hosting the reality competition show after three seasons.

She closed the reveal TMZand said: “I think it’s time for me to really focus on my business and my entrepreneurship and also produce more television – but behind the scenes. I think it’s time to move from the dance floor to the stock market… from the ballroom to the boardroom.”

Aware she was breaking the news, she said, “Wait, wait, wait — drop the mic.”

Banks, who was interviewed leaving a grocery store, was asked if she was really leaving the show, which switched from ABC to Disney+ last year.

“Don’t you think it’s time? Yes, I think it’s time,” she replied. I’m an entrepreneur at heart… I think my heart, my soul, is in my business, it’s also in the production of new TV that we’re working on. We have a new business show coming soon. But I really, really want to focus on my business, and you can’t do that to host a show.

Banks, who also served as the show’s executive producer, said she’ll be creating things and not hosting things because she’s “crazy, crazy, crazy business focused.”

The show, which is expected to air on Disney+ for its 32nd season this fall, has yet to make an official announcement. Yahoo Entertainment has requested comment.

Banks first joined the show in 2020 season 29, replacing longtime presenter Tom Bergeron, who was there from the start, in a major reshuffle. Bergeron has had various co-hosts over the years: Lisa Canning (season 1), Samantha Harris (seasons 2–9), Brooke Burke (seasons 10–17), and Erin Andrews (seasons 18–28).

Bergeron said in a 2021 interview that the show he left wasn’t the one he joined when he was fired. He said it has changed so much and not for the better in his opinion.

Banks, who said she was a longtime fan of the show, initially managed it on her own. Last season, Alfonso Ribeiro became her co-host. Last season’s judges were Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, Derek Hough and Len Goodman. (Goodman retired at the end of the season.)

Banks rose to fame as a model in the 1990s and quickly attained supermodel status. She branched out early and acted on television (Fresh Prince of Bel Air) and in movies (coyote ugly)Creation of a long-standing series of competitions (America’s Next Top Model) and the start of a talk show during the day (The Tyra Banks Show). The Queen of the “Smize” was the host America’s Got Talent for a season ahead DWTS.
